ICANN's Choice, The Crypto Key Roll

CircleID reportage has reminded us of the anticipated Key Signing Key Roll slated for 2018/10/11... As of today (2018/0831) the ICANN Board is on a sabbatical (in Brussells of all places...), given the import of the decision, perhaps the Board will see fit to make a decision.

"While the majority of ICANN's Security and Stability Advisory Committee (SSAC) have given the organization the green signal to roll, or change, the "top" pair of cryptographic keys used in the DNSSEC protocol, commonly known as the Root Zone KSK (Key Signing Key), five members of the committee advised against the October 11 rollover timeline." - via CircleID Staff Reporters
